Barn Rules

Here you can find a comprehensive list of barn rules.  These apply to all staff, boarders, and non-boarders (i.e. a visiting family member or someone taking lessons).

 

1. The barn is open from 6 AM-9 PM Monday through Friday, 7 AM-10 PM Saturday, & is closed on Sundays.

2. Any person under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

3. All riders must wear an ASTM/SEI certified helmet and closed-toed boots with a heel at least a 1/2 inch.

4. All boarders/lessees/lessoners must sign a waiver before joining us.

5. If boarders have family members or friends looking to ride their horse, they must sign a waiver as well.

6. Do not feed any horse that you don't know without owner's permission first.

7. If entering arena, please call out "entering" before coming in so riders can steer clear.

8. Please clean up after yourself/your horse and don't leave anything laying around.

9. Put tack/equipment back in its respective area and don't use others' tack or equipment w/o permission first.

10. Keep tack room organized.  A messy tack room is an unhappy tack room!

11. Dogs up to 50 pounds are allowed on property, so long as they are on a leash.  If dog causes a commotion they must be taken off the property.

12. Absolutely no smoking and drinking on the property.  You will be removed immediately if you violate this rule.

13. On busy days, there is a 20 minute limit on all grooming/wash stalls.  So please use your time up accordingly-someone else might be waiting to use it.

14. If you are the last one to use any of the arenas, please turn all lights off and shut the gates.

15. No one is allowed to jump or go on the cross country course alone.  You must always be with someone else-whether they are riding or not.
